Williams. He headed the Tullamore distillery at the time, and put his initials - D.E.W. on the bottle label and thus inspired the subtle proverb: ”Give every man his dew” (dew: pronounced ”due”, i.e. give every man what he deserves). The name thus established, success was secured.The triple distillery - including all three types of Irish whiskey: golden grain, pot still and malt - guarantees the ultimate softness, and the maturing of this unique blend in Oloroso sherry casks and old Bourbon oak casks for many years produces the special character and taste which continue to win awards year after year. The soft and round taste makes it ideal to drink neat, with water, over ice and in Irish Coffee.
