The key word of Père Magloire is quality all the way through the production of calvados: after the distillation Père Magloire Calvados is matured for a minimum of 2 years in big wood vats in the old cellars of Père Magloire.Père Magloire is based on 4 different types of apples from the Pays d’Auge district in Normandy. This wonderful calvados has a strong bouquet of fresh apples, a delicate and pale amber colour and a very fruity taste.Père Magloire is very versatile; it can be served on the rocks or as a cocktail before dinner, during dinner it can be served between starter and main dish in small calvados glassed, served hand-warm with coffee in tulip glasses and it is even an excellent mixer in exclusive drinks.
