Our Master Blender works with different casks for this 25-year-old expression to ensure a consistent taste profile batch after batch. The latest batch moved to a five-cask matured scotch whisky recipe and is a more natural older brother to the four-cask matured twenty-one-year-old.

In the spirit of our intrepid founding father, John Duff, who ventured to Kentucky and South Africa in pursuit of whisky adventures in the late 1880s, BenRiach is known for its bold approach to whisky making; being the first to distill Speyside whiskies from both peated and unpeated malted barley. Thanks to this pioneering, ‘dual distilling’ heritage, BenRiach enjoys the oldest collection of rare, peated vintages in Speyside and offers a uniquely balanced range of peated and unpeated malts.
