The spirit of the bear has been worshipped, respected and revered by us Finns for centuries. Making it the stuff of legend. Perhaps that’s because we see more than a little of our own character traits in this powerful, untamed creature. Free to go where they want and do as they please. They’re often solitary and fiercely independent. They’re strong, wild and fearless but with a naturally curious, adept and playful side. Which is a lot like our attitude and approach towards brewing. And that’s why the results are always real beers of the highest quality.Established in 1853, we’re a once small town brewer with big ideas and values. So whilst we still use only the finest traditional ingredients, today we are set on creating post-modern classics and contemporary urban legends that will become a part of future Finnish folklore.
