The botanist is a handcratfed gin created by famous master distiller Jim McEwan.The recipe includes 31 botanicals (no precedent in gins) : 9 classic gin botanicals and 22 hand foraged islay grown botanicals.Distilled and bottled on the remote, atlantic island of Islay with pure Islay spring water.The botanist is distilled in the last remaining lomond spirit still in the world, very slow and low pressure trickle distillation.Bottled at 46% for a rare explosion and complexity of flavours.
