Elegant och sofistikerad Gran Reserva Cava som mognat länge på flaska.DOFT: mjuka noter av rostade stenfrukter; persikor och nektariner, på en bakgrund av brioche och nötter. SMAK: Bred, komplex, balanserad och krämig. Små, tätä bubblor som dröjer länge samt noter av brioche och nötter, tyder på fermentering i flaskan. Vinet förbättras och utvecklas ännu i glaset.MAT: Utmärkt aperitiv, med utsökta rätter av vit fisk, kräftor och skaldjur.

Codorníu is synonymous to the history of the family of the same name. Spanning 450 years, it is the oldest family business in Spain and one of the oldest in the world.In 1895 Manuel Raventós hired architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch to expand the winery. The building symbolises the alliance between nature and human labour, a homage in stone to the silence of cava. Declared a Historical Artistic Monument in 1976, it is one of the most impressive examples of architecture related to cava.In 1872 Josep Raventós Fatjó made the first Spanish cava following the Traditional Method and using local grapes from the Penedés, linking Codorníu to the history of cava.A good cava is made from premium quality grapes. That’s why Codorníu carefully selects its grapes and manages its vineyards. Codorniu applies sustainable winegrowing allowing nature to run its course with minimal intervention.
