Dark Storm Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured in heavily-charred oak casks for an intensely smoky flavour, designed to capture the wild, untamed spirit of a full-blown storm at sea.Region: An intense expression from the only distillery on Skye. Appearance: Amber gold. Nose: A salty, smoky edge combines with hints of aromatic spices and oak, developing into stewed apples. Body: Full. Palate: Exceedingly smooth and sweet with an intense vibrant combination of fresh fruits, blackcurrants and liquorice, slowly disappearing into a tempest of rich spice. Finish: Warm, lingering and powerfully smoky.

The TALISKER™ distillery was founded in 1830 and still lies on the rugged western shores of the Isle of Skye, situated off the West Coast of Scotland. Skye is known in Gaelic as ‘Eilean a Cheo’ which means ‘Isle Of Mists’, a suitable name for this remote and mysterious part of Scotland. The TALISKER™ distillery has long been the very center of life on the island and is the only single malt Scotch whisky from Skye. TALISKER™ is distilled using water from 14 underground springs that rise from nearby Hawk Hill.
