Amarone della Valpolicella is the finest expression of this region, which boasts a long-standing winemaking tradition. Bottega uses only hand-picked and carefully selected grapes, which are then left to dry on racks. The drying of the grapes, followed by ageing in French oak barrels and then in the bottle, is what makes this wine unique. Intense hints of jam, cocoa, tobacco, licorice and tea leaf notes, finishing with moss, leather. Taste: Well-structured, complex, warm on the palate, with a long persistence and a perfect balance of softness, acidity and tannic notes. This wine is recommended with red meat, stews and game, but also goes well with very mature cheeses. It is also a meditation wine.
